COMPLESSO SPELEOLOGICO "GROTTE DI COLLEPARDO e POZZO D'ANTULLO"
Lo spettacolo delle stalattiti e stalagmiti è di un fascino ineguagliabile: per la singolarità delle forme che riecheggiano figure umane ed animali esse furono denominate "Grotte dei Bambocci", ma sono anche conosciute con il nome di "Grotte Regina Margherita", in seguito alla visita della sovrana nel 1904. Questa singolarissima rarità naturale, unica in Europa per le sue dimensioni, è una grande voragine carsica, con una circonferenza di circa 300 metri ed una profondità di 60. Il fondo è probabilmente collegato con le stesse Grotte, attraverso un articolato sistema di cunicoli sotterranei. Servizio di visite guidate:

  COLLEPARDO'S CAVES andANTULLO WELL 
The spectacle of stalactites and stalagmites has an unbeatable charm. Because of the singularity of the forms which call to mind human and animal figures, they are named "Caves of Puppets", but they are also known with the name of "Caves Queen Margherita", in conseguence the visit of that Queen in 1904. This great natural well, unique in Europe for size, has the circumference of about 300 metre and the depht of 70. Its bottom may join the Caves through a complex system of underground passages. Further information here about the Wall. | ||||||||||||
